Dr. Lesa Hoffman is a Professor in Educational Measurement and Statistics at the University of Iowa (after previous faculty positions at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and University of Kansas). Her program of scholarship seeks to empirically examine and thoughtfully disseminate how developments in quantitative methodology can advance empirical work in the social and educational sciences, with particular focus on multilevel models and structural equation models for analyzing longitudinal data. She teaches graduate courses and intensive workshops on general and generalized linear models, multilevel models for clustered or longitudinal data, and latent variable modeling.
