Stephen G. West is Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University. He is past editor of Journal of Personality, Psychological Methods, and Multivariate Behavioral Research, and currently serves as associate editor of Multivariate Behavioral Research.

His research focuses on causal inference, experimental and quasi-experimental design, multiple regression, structural equation modeling, and longitudinal data analysis, with substantive interests in personality and prevention science.

West has received numerous honors, including the APA’s Henry Murray and Samuel Messick Awards, Division 5’s Jacob Cohen Award for Teaching, the Saul Sells Award from the Society for Multivariate Experimental Psychology, and the Alexander von Humboldt Research Award.
