Dr. David Rindskopf is a Distinguished Professor at the CUNY Graduate Center, where he has served since 1979. His work focuses on applied statistics, measurement, and research design. He is a Fellow of both the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA). He has served as president of the New York Chapter of ASA, president of the Society of Multivariate Experimental Psychology (SMEP), and associate editor of Multivariate Behavioral Research, and is a former editor of the Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics.
Rindskopf’s research centers on innovative applications of statistical methods to real-world problems, including the analysis of detailed case-study data in collaboration with William Shadish through funding from the Institute of Educational Sciences. He has also consulted extensively in the business sector, notably partnering with Professor Alan Gross and BusinessWeek to detect irregularities in survey data used for MBA program rankings.
