Dr. Michael C. Neale

Professor

Among other things, I am the developer of Mx, and a lead on the OpenMx project.  Much of my work involves developing statistical models for genetically-informative studies of neuroimaging phenotypes, substance abuse and psychiatric disorders.  I have worked at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia since 1986.  Since 2002 I have also been Professor of Statistical Methods for Behavioral Genetics at the Free University of Amsterdam.

I regularly direct, teach or participate in workshops on statistical methods in Boulder, Colorado, Birmingham Alabama, and at VCU.
