Gregory R. Hancock is Professor, Distinguished Scholar-Teacher, and Director of the Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics program in the Department of Human Development and Quantitative Methodology at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also directs the Center for Integrated Latent Variable Research (CILVR). His research focuses on structural equation modeling, latent growth models, latent variables in (quasi)experimental design, and power analysis. His work appears in leading journals including Psychometrika, Multivariate Behavioral Research, Psychological Methods, and Structural Equation Modeling. He is co-editor of several influential volumes on quantitative methods and has served on numerous editorial boards. A Fellow of AERA, APA, and APS, he has delivered over 200 methodological workshops internationally and was honored with the APA’s 2011 Jacob Cohen Award for Distinguished Contributions to Teaching and Mentoring.
