Dr. Sy‑Miin Chow is a full professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State University and a leader in developing cutting‑edge methods for modeling how people change over time, with expertise in dynamic systems, time‑series, and intensive longitudinal data—from mobile assessments to wearable sensors. She has published extensively on state‑space models, regime‑switching techniques, vector autoregression, and Bayesian estimation, applying her methods to domains like emotion regulation, health behavior, and developmental processes.
