I am currently an Assistant Professor in Quantitative Psychology at the University of Notre Dame. My main line of interest is in integrating methods from both machine learning and latent variable modeling. Additionally, I am researching the use machine learning for clinical psychology research, specifically suicide and non-suicidal self-injury. For both of these interests, I am an active developer of open source software for the R statistical environment.
